Cost of Education In USA:

Normally, the private universities have a higher tuition fee than the public colleges. However, the public colleges make up the difference by relying on the state funds. The scholarships and student loans are also offered by federal government and private lenders. Scholarships, both merit-based and need-based are available widely. The tuition fees in most of the US universities ranges from $ 10,000 – $ 25,000 per annum.

Accommodation and living expenses:

The two main categories of accommodation are: on campus & off-campus. The types of accommodation in the campus include residence halls (dormitories), hostels, university-owned flats and apartments, sorority houses and fraternity houses. The types of accommodation outside the campus include apartments, private dorms, share accommodation, home stay and rent accommodation. The cost of living in different parts of the United States also varies.

Work prospects In US :

Students at any level are not allowed to work full-time, while studying in the USA. However, employment of international students, who reached USA on a non-immigrant visa such as F-1, is strictly regulated. If such students maintain their visa status and be in good standing, they could work part-time and on campus only for up to 20 hours a week. During holidays and college breaks, students could work full-time, if they maintain the good standing.
